The Innkeeper Hard at Work

If you remember standing in line at Awful Arthur's on a Monday evening for Local's Night, drinking pitchers of Margaritas at Papagayo's or slam dancing at Mex-Econos, the Atlantic Street Inn (and it's owners) may look familiar to you. In a former life The Inn was larger than life and the center piece of many a tall tale on the Outer Banks. As we all have grown and changed, so to it was time for The Inn to mature and pursue a different life-style at a slightly slower and more sustainable pace.

It is thanks to the vision of George and Diana Tsonev that this small piece of Outer Banks history be not only kept alive, but to become something more so that new stories could be lived and then told, stories that don't involve statutes of limitations or the physical description of a local bail bondsman.
